OncoReHub

OncoReHub is an R&D project aimed at the design and development of an advanced digital oncology telerehabilitation platform with artificial intelligence, initially focused on patients with breast or lung cancer.

The solution integrates voice-assisted self-assessment, functional analysis using computer vision, personalized therapeutic recommendation and continuous monitoring, with the aim of improving the accuracy of the clinical evaluation, facilitating the personalization of treatment and reinforcing care continuity during the rehabilitation process.

The project covers the technological development of the platform, its functional and clinical validation in a multicenter environment and the regulatory advance necessary for its future implementation in healthcare environments.

This action is part of an investment in R&D in Spain with a high innovative component, aimed at the development of advanced technologies applied to oncological rehabilitation.

OncoReHub modules

Self-Assessment and Smart Voice Assistant: Allows patients to interact with a virtual assistant to evaluate their physical and emotional state, using adaptive questions based on AI. This reduces the workload of professionals and optimizes accessibility to treatments.
Functional Evaluation through Computer Vision: Uses advanced artificial vision technologies to objectively and automatically evaluate the patient’s movement patterns, allowing precise personalization of rehabilitation programs.
Automatic Recommendation of Therapeutic Exercises: Through AI, the system generates a list of exercises adapted to the patient’s clinical and physiological needs, improving adherence and physical recovery.
Continuous Monitoring and Dynamic Treatment Adjustments: The system adjusts therapies in real time, ensuring that they adapt to the patient’s progress and that complications are minimized.
Predictive Diagnosis Support: OncoReHub also incorporates a predictive analysis of symptoms and progress, which facilitates early intervention and optimization of treatment.

OncoReHub Objective

The OncoReHub project aims to carry out a multicenter clinical study to validate its effectiveness by comparing its use against traditional rehabilitation methods. This study involves several prestigious centers, such as the Vall d’Hebron Hospital and other centers in Spain, Colombia and Andorra.
