OncoreHub

OncoReHub is a digital rehabilitation project specifically designed for oncology patients, initially focusing on individuals with breast and lung cancer.

OncoReHub is an innovative digital rehabilitation platform that addresses the critical need of oncology patients to access personalised and condition-adapted therapeutic treatments. Developed by DyCare, the project initially focuses on patients with breast and lung cancer, while being designed for future expansion to other oncological conditions.

The platform integrates several emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP), to deliver an interactive system that enables patients to perform self-assessments, receive therapeutic recommendations, and benefit from continuous, home-based monitoring.

Self-Assessment and Intelligent Voice Assistant: Enables patients to interact with a virtual assistant to assess their physical and emotional status through AI-driven adaptive questioning. This reduces the workload of healthcare professionals and improves access to treatment.
Functional Assessment via Computer Vision: Leverages advanced computer vision technologies to objectively and automatically evaluate patient movement patterns, enabling precise personalisation of rehabilitation programmes.
Automated Therapeutic Exercise Recommendation: Using AI, the system generates a tailored set of exercises based on the patient’s clinical and physiological needs, improving both adherence and physical recovery.
Continuous Monitoring and Dynamic Treatment Adjustments: The system adapts therapies in real time, ensuring alignment with patient progress while minimising potential complications.
Predictive Diagnostic Support: OncoReHub also incorporates predictive analytics to anticipate symptom progression and patient outcomes, facilitating early intervention and optimised treatment planning.

OncoreHub Objective

The OncoReHub project aims to conduct a multicentre clinical study to validate its effectiveness by comparing its use with traditional rehabilitation methods. This study involves several leading healthcare centres, including Vall d’Hebron Hospital, as well as other centres in Spain, Colombia, and Andorra.
